Today, Zeta participated in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announcement of a $1 million annual investment in the Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia, PA. “If we want to ensure that conservation is relevant to future generations, we have to put more energy into reaching people where they live, which is becoming more and more in urban centers,” said Service Director Dan Ashe in a ceremony at the refuge. Zeta is the only minority women's organization to partner with the USFWS. Through the partnership, Zeta chapters across the nation expose youth to refuges, encourage STEM careers, and promote outdoor recreation through the Zetas Have Heart initiative. ‪#‎WildlifeRefuge‬
